Zlatan Ibrahimovic marked his first MLS start with the winning goal in LA Galaxy’s win over Bastian Schweinsteiger and Chicago Fire.

When the LA Galaxy traveled to the Chicago Fire on Saturday, it gave two highly decorated stalwarts the chance to once again square off.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic lined up in attack for the Galaxy, while Bastian Schweinsteiger was deployed in central defense by the Fire to directly counteract the Swede.

However, Schweinsteiger was unable to prevent Ibrahimovic from finding the net — his third goal in three appearances for the Galaxy — as the visitors mustered a narrow 1-0 victory at Toyota Park.
