A court in Croatia has sentenced former Dinamo Zagreb chief executive Zdravko Mamic to six-and-a-half years in prison for tax evasion and siphoning off profits from player transfers.
Two other former senior Dinamo officials and a tax official were also jailed for the same offences.
Mamic’s brother Zoran, a former Dinamo coach, was given a sentence of four years and 11 months, while Damir Vrbanovic, a senior official in the Croatian Soccer Federation (HNS), was sentenced to three years.

Roma have completed the signing of Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Ante Coric on a five-year deal.

SARAJEVO, Bosnia-Herzegovina — Controversial former Dinamo Zagreb director Zdravko Mamic was shot and injured in Bosnia on Monday, police and media reported.
Croatia’s state TV said Mamic was shot in his leg and taken to a local hospital on Monday. It said the injury was not life-threatening. Police were searching for two possible assailants.

NYON, Switzerland — Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain no longer risk UEFA fines and penalties for breaking “Financial Fair Play” rules in 2014.

Arijan Ademi will now only be banned until October.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has cut Arijan Ademi’s doping ban from four years to two after the Dinamo Zagreb and Macedonia midfielder persuaded an appeal panel he had not intentionally cheated.
Ademi, 26, tested positive for the steroid stanozolol after Dinamo’s 2-1 Champions League win over Arsenal in September 2015.
