Honduras and Australia head to Sydney with it all to play for after a scoreless first leg in their World Cup playoff.
Australia midfielder Mark Milligan likes his side’s chances in their second leg against Honduras at ANZ Stadium. Their journey was longer but the Honduras team didn’t appear unduly weary when they arrived in Sydney for Wednesday’s do-or-die World Cup playoff second leg clash with the Socceroos.
The Hondurans arrived via commercial flights on Monday morning, more than 18 hours after the Socceroos’ specially-equipped charter flight touched down following its hasty post-match departure from Honduras.
