Minnesota signs Chacon to Young DP deal

Uruguay U20 international Thomas Chacon has signed for Minnesota United from Danubio.

Minnesota United announced on Monday evening that it has signed Uruguay youth international Thomas Chacon from Danubio to a Young Designated Player contract.

With Darwin Quintero, Angelo Rodriguez and Jan Gregus already occupying all three of the Loons’ DP slots, the club has bought down Rodriguez’s contract using Targeted Allocation Money to accommodate Chacon’s Young DP status.
