Leicester City squandered a host of second-half chances as Bournemouth held on for a point.
Bournemouth ended the 2016-17 campaign in decent fashion with a 1-1 draw against last season’s champions Leicester City at their own ground. The Cherries’ away form has been mediocre at best this season, but the point secured at the King Power stadium earned them a place in the Premier League’s top 10. It might be insignificant to the rest of the division, but to Eddie Howe and his team it’s another standout moment in the club’s growing history.

Eddie Howe says Bournemouth’s position as an established Premier League club will encourage new signings to join.

Bournemouth travel to Leicester on Sunday in the final game of the season in a bid to secure their best ever Premier League finish. It may be a mid-table clash with little relevance to the outcome of the league but it’s not only a chance for the Cherries to secure their first top-10 position but also for Leicester to bow out in style in their last game with the tag of reigning champions.

It’s three points that have a lot of pride attached to them with the Foxes also looking to secure a place in…

Bournemouth gave the fans something to cheer about by claiming a 2-1 win against Burnley in their last home game of the season. Not only did they deliver three points, but the players put in a great team performance from front to back. There’s a realistic chance the club could now secure a top-10 finish with a win against Leicester in the last game of the season.

Eddie Howe lauded his Bournemouth players and coaching staff for a successful season of surviving in the Premier League.

It’s Bournemouth’s last home fixture of the season on Saturday, and they welcome Burnley to the Vitality Stadium to round off another Premier League campaign in which they have performed to a decent standard in front of their home fans. Eddie Howe’s side have won eight and drawn four of their 18 home games and have scored 33 goals in the process. Sean Dyche’s side are the second-worst away side in the league, having won just one game on their travels, so the chance of Bournemouth improving their…

Fans on the south coast can finally feel relieved as Bournemouth’s three points have pushed the side up to 10th in the division. While it is still mathematically possible for the club to be relegated, the chances of that happening are now extremely slim. The rest of the season from here on is just about enjoying the football and seeing how high the club can finish while building some momentum for the next campaign.

Eddie Howe praises Bournemouth after thumping Middlesbrough, but refuses to believe they are safe from relegation.

Bournemouth thumped a feeble Boro side who are now seven points adrift of safety.
