Barnsley goalkeeper Nick Townsend was involved in a training ground bust-up with teammate Dimitri Cavare.
With a tense derby against Sheffield United on the cards this weekend, Barnsley have confirmed that they’ll be heading into the match without their goalkeeper.
Unfortunately, Nick Townsend suffered a broken finger during a training session earlier in the week — although it sounds as though the injury was entirely preventable.
As confirmed by Tykes head coach Jose Morais, Townsend fractured his digit after getting embroiled in a fist fight with a teammate, namely defender Dimitri Cavare.
