Tianjin Quanjian threw away a two-goal lead before salvaging a late point as they fought to a 3-3 draw with Beijing Renhe in the Chinese Super League on Sunday.
Goals from Wang Xiaolong and Alexandre Pato put Tianjin in charge of the game after 35 minutes but a strong second-half showing allowed Renhe to take control.
Ayub Masika’s double, scored either side of a Makhete Diop penalty, saw Renhe turn the game around, only for Liu Jian’s red card with 11 minutes remaining to throw Tianjin a late lifeline.

The Chinese football authorities have banned Changchun Yatai’s Zhang Li for six games after he was found guilty of “causing chaos” during an altercation with ex-Chelsea striker Demba Ba in the Chinese Super League last weekend.
Zhang was also fined 42,000 yuan (£4,800) after the Chinese Football Association ruled that the midfielder had “interfered with the order of the game and caused chaos that had a negative effect for the public” during Changchun’s 1-1 draw with Shanghai Shenhua.

Australia defender Trent Sainsbury has joined Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven on a three-year deal after leaving Chinese Super League side Jiangsu Suning.
The move reunites 26-year-old Sainsbury with Mark van Bommel, who took charge of PSV after completing his role as assistant to Australia coach Bert van Marwijk at the World Cup.

Borussia Dortmund have agreed a deal for the transfer of midfielder Axel Witsel from Chinese Super League side Tianjin Quanjian, with the Belgium international becoming their seventh new arrival of the summer.
