CHICAGO – U.S. men’s national team manager Gregg Berhalter has said that Sunday — which will see the U.S. contest the Women’s World Cup final against Netherlands while the men face Mexico in the Gold Cup final — should be looked upon as “Soccer Day in America.”

Columbus Crew sign Curacao goalkeeper Room

Sam Johnson’s full-field run resulted in the lone goal of the game as Real Salt Lake won their second consecutive game at Rio Tinto Stadium.
With goalkeeper Zack Steffen due to leave for English Premier League side Manchester City on Tuesday, the Columbus Crew announced the signing of his replacement on Friday.
