Roma sign Robin Olsen as replacement for Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson

Former Barcelona star and current La Liga ambassador Patrick Kluivert shares his thoughts on his son Justin’s move from Ajax to Roma. Roma confirmed the signing of Swedish goalkeeper Robin Olsen from Copenhagen as a replacement for Alisson, who joined Liverpool last Thursday.
Alisson became the most expensive goalkeeper in history when he moved to Liverpool for €62.5 million, while Olsen has cost Roma for €8.5m with performances related bonuses which could see the deal rise by up to €3.5m.

Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid cruised to the Europa League round of 16 as they defeated Copenhagen 5-1 on aggregate. Kevin Gameiro scored Atletico Madrid’s only goal as a 1-0 win over Copenhagen was enough to advance from the Europa League round of 32 on the back of a big victory last week.
The result appeared out of reach for the visitors after Atletico won 4-1 in Denmark, and Gameiro blasted home a shot from distance in the seventh minute to end any doubt.
Diego Simeone’s team will await to see who they’ll face in the round of 16, with the draw set for Friday.
