Brighton manager Chris Hughton has lauded the Football Association after they condemned the Burnley supporters who booed Gaeten Bong last weekend.
Bong accused Jay Rodriguez, the former Burnley player who is now with West Brom, of racial abuse during a match at the turn of the year.
That charge was not proven, but the FA stressed it was “made in absolute good faith.”
Bong, however, was jeered at Turf Moor and subjected to chants, with Hughton describing the actions of the Burnley supporters as “shameful.”
