Jordy Clasie’s lone goal and Fraser Forster’s stout goalkeeping sealed back-to-back Premier League wins for Southampton.

A run of three games in a week ended with West Brom succumbing to a 1-0 loss against Southampton at The Hawthorns on Saturday, meaning that Tony Pulis’ side failed to score in any of their three games in that week-long period.

After a tremendous run of home form, West Brom has lost two of its past three fixtures at The Hawthorns, which suggests that teams may now have a game plan in place to combat the main threats of Pulis’ team.

Despite playing a man down for the final 25 minutes, Watford held on to a 2-0 win highlighted by M’baye Niang’s stunner.

A combination of poor marking and not converting their chances led to defeat for West Brom according to Tony Pulis.

After a tremendous rear-guard action at Old Trafford to earn a 0-0 draw, West Brom were brought back down to earth with a crash as they put in a lacklustre performance in a 2-0 loss to Watford at Vicarage Road on Tuesday.

Tony Pulis’ side appeared to be exhausted both mentally and physically, with some uncharacteristically poor defensive play allowing Watford a couple of opportunities they took full advantage of.

Man United lost pace with the top four after a dismal performance at Old Trafford against WBA.

Man United lost pace with the top four following a dismal performance at Old Trafford against WBA.
West Brom put in a defensive masterclass against Manchester United at Old Trafford to secure a 0-0 draw. While Jose Mourinho criticised West Brom after the game, there will surely be a part of him that, begrudgingly, respected the discipline and organisation of the defensive effort put in by Tony Pulis’ side. It was a fantastic start to a week which contains three fixtures, that could potentially take West Brom to their record Premier League tally.

Everton moved to within two points of the top six with an easy win over West Brom at Goodison Park.

Everton moved to within two points of the top six with an easy win over West Brom at Goodison Park.
West Brom put in one of their most disappointing performances of the season as they surrendered meekly to a 3-0 defeat against Everton, the team one place above Tony Pulis’ side in the table. West Brom rarely threatened Everton, who were given almost free reign to attack with Hal Robson-Kanu left horribly isolated up front in a rare start for the Welshman. It is a worrying sign that since hitting 40 points, Pulis’ team have put in two of their worst performances in the losses to Crystal Palace and…

West Brom maintained their first-half lead to hold off Bournemouth 2-1 at the Hawthorns.

Tony Pulis highlights West Brom’s response after going down 1-0, and praises veteran Gareth McAuley’s value for the club.

West Brom maintained their first-half lead to hold off Bournemouth 2-1 at the Hawthorns.
West Brom secured their seventh win in eight home games with a 2-1 victory over Bournemouth, the first time they have beaten Eddie Howe’s side in the Premier League. Gareth McAuley’s 21st-minute header completed the comeback after Tony Pulis’ side went behind on three minutes from the penalty spot. The win takes West Brom to 40 points, with the next target now being 50 points or more, which would be a Premier League club record.

West Brom robbed West Ham of a thrilling home victory when Gareth McAuley put in a dramatic stoppage-time equaliser.

English Premier League: Jonny Evans (90’+4) West Ham 2-2 West Brom

English Premier League: Manuel Lanzini (86′) West Ham 2-1 West Brom

West Brom had a pair of diverging halves says Tony Pulis, and credits Slaven Bilic for his side’s tactical changes.
Jonny Evans grabbed an injury-time equaliser on his return to first team action to secure West Brom a point in their first visit to the London Stadium. Tony Pulis’ men took the lead early on through Nacer Chadli but were then on the back foot for the majority of the game. This wasn’t helped by Pulis’ decision to go on the defensive early in the second half, when West Ham’s change in formation was leaving plenty of space for his side to exploit if the right personnel remained on the pitch.

A couple of brilliantly taken goals ensure victory for West Brom at the Hawthorns.

Darren Fletcher says West Brom are working hard week in and week out, in hopes of a top of the table finish.

English Premier League: Chris Brunt (36′) West Brom 2-0 Sunderland
West Brom secured their fifth home win in six games with a routine victory over Sunderland at The Hawthorns. It was an immediate return to form for Tony Pulis’ side after their poor performance last week in the 4-0 defeat to Spurs, and the Welshman will undoubtedly be just as pleased to see his back four keep a clean sheet as he will be with the two fantastic goals from Darren Fletcher and Chris Brunt that gave West Brom the win.

Spurs picked up their sixth consecutive Premier League win with a dazzling performance at White Hart Lane.

English Premier League: Harry Kane (81′) Tottenham 4-0 West Brom

Mauricio Pochettino admitted Jan Vertonghen’s injury looks very bad after he was forced off against West Brom.
West Brom are eighth in the Premier League table but they were shown firsthand how big the gulf is between themselves and the top six as Spurs ran out 4-0 winners in a one-sided encounter at White Hart Lane. Although Tottenham were very good, Tony Pulis will not have been happy with the way West Brom played. They gave the ball away far too easily, invited pressure on themselves and even their usual strengths such as defensive organisation and set piece prowess seemed to desert them.
