Julien Laurens thinks Frank Lampard’s Chelsea return with a pending transfer ban will be “a hell of a task ahead.”
Frank Lampard was denied victory in his first match as Chelsea head coach with a late goal from trialist Eric Molloy snatching a 1-1 draw for Bohemians in Dublin.
Michy Batshuayi put Chelsea in front after just eight minutes when he pounced on Kenedy’s deflected shot in the box, but Molloy found the top corner after racing onto Keith Ward’s pass as the League of Ireland side finished stronger.
Following the match, Lampard didn’t seemed worried about the result despite the lesser competition.

Fernando Lafuente is alive and well after being falsely reported dead.
A footballer whose death was falsely reported by his former club, Ballybrack FC, will not press charges and has claimed the amateur side from Dublin did it in order to get a game postponed.
Ballybrack, who play in the Leinster Senior League (LSL) in Ireland, announced that Fernando Lafuente had died on Thursday. Their game against Arklow Town on Saturday was postponed and a minute’s silence was held by other teams before their fixtures.
Lafuente, 29, played for Ballybrack FC last season…

Bob Marley’s image will no longer appear on the shirts of Irish club Bohemians.
League of Ireland side Bohemians have been forced to drop their new away kit, which was set to feature a giant image of Bob Marley on the front.
In a somewhat tenuous link, Bohs wanted to include Marley’s picture to celebrate the musical heritage of their Dalymount stadium, with The Wailers having played one gig there back in the 1980s.
However, the club have since been contacted by representatives of the agency that handles Marley’s image, who informed them that they do not have the rights to use…

League of Ireland club Bohemians have released an interesting new away kit for 2019 that is steeped long in roots, rock and reggae.
The Dublin-based side’s new Rasta-tastic shirt features a large graphic of Bob Marley on the front, complete with red, gold and green trim.
We are delighted to reveal our 2019 away jersey.Designed by #Bohs in conjunction with our new kit suppliers O’Neills, it gives a nod to Dalymount's special place in the hearts of football and music fans.Available for pre-order in time for Christmas: https://t.co/gCjzKUSiJK =H pic.twitter.com/H6ZMlIMLQA— Bohemian FC =4« (@bfcdublin) 23 October 2018

The fairly tenuous explanation from Bohs is that Marley played one concert at their Dalymount ground during the 1980s — thus, the jersey is designed to pay homage to the stadium’s “special place in the hearts of both football…

Cork City mustered a 3-1 away victory over St. Patrick’s on Friday night to keep themselves within two points of the top of the League of Ireland Premier Division.
With their guests already 2-1 up and injury time dwindling away, St. Patrick’s sent goalkeeper Tyson Farago up for a corner in desperate search of a late, late equaliser.
Unfortunately, the set piece came to nothing — well, nothing other than an 80-yard mega goal for Cork winger Kieran Sadlier.

Outrageous strike, but the best part is…
