Loic Remy has signed for Lille.
Loic Remy has signed a two-year contract with Nice, the club announced on Friday, marking the forward’s return to France after five years abroad.
“It makes me really happy to come back to France, in a league which I’ve missed and to sign with Lille, a really big French club,” Remy said in a statement.
The 31-year-old left Marseille in 2013 to move to England with Queens Park Rangers before impressing on loan with Newacastle and moving to Chelsea a year later.

BARCELONA, Spain — Las Palmas were relegated to Spain’s second division after losing 4-0 at home to Alaves on Sunday.
Forward Munir El Haddadi scored twice after half-time before Alvaro Medran and Ruben Sobrino added two late goals to ensure Alaves remained in the top flight for another season.
Las Palmas were relegated with four matches remaining. The Canary Islands club had spent three seasons in the top tier.
