Nicolas Mezquida scored on a penalty kick in the 85th minute and the Colorado Rapids earned a 2-1 victory Wednesday over the Los Angeles Galaxy at Commerce City, Colo., to remain undefeated under new head coach Robin Fraser.

Zac MacMath will leave the Colorado Rapids to join the Vancouver Whitecaps.
The Vancouver Whitecaps have acquired goalkeeper Zac MacMath from the Colorado Rapids in exchange for midfielder Nicolas Mezquida and $100,000 in Targeted Allocation Money, a league source has confirmed to ESPN FC.
The Washington Post’s Steven Goff and the Twitter handle @GlassCityFC were the first to report that both MacMath and Mezquida were on the move, while the league source provided the monetary details of the deal.
