Mourinho was desperate to add a centre-back to his squad before his dismissal and wanted Milenkovic in the January transfer window.

Partizan Belgrade defender Nikola Milenkovic is set to join Fiorentina in a €5.1 million deal this summer, the Serbian Super Liga club have announced.
