Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson has moved to personally thank a young Reds fan after stumbling across his impressive act of generosity on Twitter.
Alfie Radford, 7, donated his pocket money to a foodbank in the Anfield area, a gesture which caught the eye of the Scottish player.
As a token of thanks, Robertson sent a signed Liverpool shirt to Alfie — not his own, but one signed by Roberto Firmino as, in his own words, “no-one wants the left-back’s shirt.”
