Leicester City’s Ghanaian defender Daniel Amartey looks set to miss the remainder of the season after suffering a horror ankle break on Saturday.
The 23-year-old was stretchered off the field in the final minutes of the 1-1 draw against West Ham United, and has since undergone surgery.
Amartey has taken to Twitter to declare the operation a success and says he “will be back stronger”, but the injury represents a major setback for him.
