Fernando Llorente admits he was unsure earlier this month whether he would be staying at Tottenham, but said Mauricio Pochettino has given him the confidence to score goals in Harry Kane’s absence. 
Llorente has generally struggled for game time since joining Spurs and, given he is out of contract in the summer, a January exit seemed possible when the window opened.

Fernando Llorente scored a late winner as Tottenham came from behind to win for the second Premier League match in a row.

Spurs had fought back from a 1-0 deficit and triumphed 2-1 at Fulham on Jan. 20, with Harry Winks heading in an injury-time winner. And, although the North Londoners went on to suffer back-to-back defeats in the domestic cup competitions, history repeated itself against Watford at Wembley on Wednesday.

Harry Winks scored a dramatic injury-time winner as Tottenham came from behind to beat Fulham 2-1 at Craven Cottage. Mauricio Pochettino’s side initially fell behind after Fernando Llorente’s first-half own goal. But Dele Alli halved the deficit in the 51st minute and Winks headed home from substitute Georges-Kevin Nkoudou’s cross in the final seconds, keeping the north Londoners seven points ahead of fifth-placed Arsenal in the top-four fight.
