Wednesday’s game between Darmstadt and Kaiserslautern was abandoned at half-time after Kaiserslautern coach Jeff Strasser required treatment in the dressing room.
The former Luxembourg international was taken to hospital for checks, Kaiserslautern said, but gave no details of his condition.
Kicker reported the 43-year-old was conscious.

United States international Julian Green has joined second-tier club Greuther Furth on a season-long loan from Stuttgart.
Green, 22, joined Stuttgart from Bayern Munich in January but has struggled for regular playing time.
This season, he has been deemed surplus to first-team requirements by Stuttgart coach Hannes Wolf and switched to Greuther Furth, currently bottom of the second tier.
