The MLS regular season isn’t due to start for another two weeks, but for a quintet of MLS teams, the start of the season has arrived. Next week the quarterfinal round of the CONCACAF Champions League begins with Toronto FC, Sporting Kansas City, the Houston Dynamo, Supporters Shield holder New York Red Bulls and reigning MLS Cup champion Atlanta United all in action.

In this Week 6 match-up at the StubHub Center, LA Galaxy look to rebound from last week’s loss as they host to a visiting Montreal Impact club that is still searching for its first victory of the 2017 campaign.
Romain Alessandrini is a “great player” who will only get better as he adjusts to MLS, LA Galaxy coach Curt Onalfo has said.
Alessandrini, 28, who signed with LA from Marseille in January, has lived up to his designated status with three goals and two assists in the Galaxy’s past three games.
