The final of the inaugural Leagues Cup that features teams from MLS and Liga MX will be held on Sept. 18 at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, the competition announced on Thursday. 
The inaugural cup competition will begin in the United States over July 23 and 24 (watch matches on ESPN and streaming on ESPN+) and see Houston Dynamo face Club America, Real Salt Lake host Tigres, Chicago Fire play Cruz Azul and LA Galaxy take on Club Tijuana. The MLS teams will all play at home.

United States international midfielder Joe Corona is set to sign for LA Galaxy on a permanent deal from Club Tijuana, sources have told ESPN FC.
The signing was first reported by Yahoo! Sports.
The 28-year-old won the Liga MX title with Club America on loan last season, but didn’t feature much this season on return to Club Tijuana under Oscar Pareja — partly due to injuries — and has recently expressed an interest in playing in MLS.

Joe Corona had spent several seasons in Liga MX at Tijuana and Club America.

The LA Galaxy have signed United States international midfielder Joe Corona on a permanent deal, the club announced on Wednesday.
“Joe is an experienced and quality player who can immediately address an area of need for our club,” Galaxy general manager Dennis te Kloese said. “I am familiar with Joe from his time in Liga MX and think he can be an impactful player on our roster.
