Toronto FC made a quick exit from the CONCACAF Champions League on Tuesday with a 1-1 home draw against Club Atletico Independiente that sealed the Panamanian team’s 5-1 aggregate victory.
Jordan Hamilton scored for Toronto in the 19th minute, but Omar Browne’s 67th-minute goal sealed advancement for CAI.

Julian Quinones is on a shortlist of forward options for the Portland Timbers, according to an ESPN source.
The Portland Timbers’ search for a new striker includes Tigres forward Julian Quinones, a league source with MLS has told ESPN FC.
Quinones, a Colombia youth international, joins a list that includes Argentine striker Ezequiel Ponce and one another target, the source added.
The Timbers’ interest in Ponce was first reported by The Athletic.

Carlos Salcedo is considered a key player for Mexico in the upcoming World Cup cycle.
Mexico international Carlos Salcedo has agreed a move to Liga MX side Tigres from Eintracht Frankfurt, according to ESPN Mexico sources and multiple reports.
