To start the 2019 MLS season, there are 144 players born in Latin American countries who will take the field across the 24 clubs. Many more were born elsewhere but carry roots from the region. To fully gauge how Latinos impact the league, we’ve created a weekly award to pick a standout, a couple of honorable mentions and on the other end of the spectrum, even a dud of the week.

The FC guys examine how much the odds would sway in Manchester United’s favour should Neymar be ruled out for PSG’s UCL round-of-16 first leg. D.C. United midfielder Luciano Acosta will not join Paris Saint-Germain in January, a source has confirmed to ESPN FC.
PSG boss Thomas Tuchel had demanded attacking reinforcement to cover Neymar’s injury absence and ESPN FC reported earlier on Thursday that the United playmaker was set to join the Parc de Princes side. However that will no longer be the case, sources have confirmed.

Luciano Acosta is given a straight red by the referee, who then changes his mind on the sending off. Philadelphia midfielder Haris Medunjanin admitted he talked the referee into rescinding a red card shown D.C. United’s Luciano Acosta for a foul on the Union player on Saturday night.
Acosta fouled Medunjanin while battling for the ball near the sideline, and referee Sorin Stoica showed the D.C. player a red card after believing that he had reached out to kick Medunjanin.
