Giovani Dos Santos has signed with America.
Former LA Galaxy forward Giovani Dos Santos has signed with Liga MX giant Club America on a two-year deal, the club announced on Saturday.
The MLS club exercised its option to buy out the contract in March and the 30-year-old Dos Santos has been searching for a club since, with ESPN reporting that the deal to bring him to America was close on Thursday evening.
The Mexico international will join the Mexico City club his father, “Zizinho” Dos Santos, played for in the 1980s.
