Andre Gray scored nine Premier League goals in 2016-17.
Watford have signed Burnley striker Andre Gray for a club-record fee.
Gray, 26, has signed a five-year contract, with the fee for his move from Turf Moore reported to be around £18.5 million.
Watford announced the transfer on their official Twitter feed, with 26-year-old Gray saying in a brief video clip: “Hello, my name is Andre Gray. I am delighted to have joined Watford and cannot wait to get going.”

And a statement on the Watford website said they were “delighted to announce the signing…

West Ham cap off a disappointing season with a 2-1 win at Burnley and finish 11th in the Premier League

West Ham cap off a disappointing season with a 2-1 win at Burnley and finish 11th in the Premier League

Burnley ended their season on a low note, finishing 16th in the Premier League table after a 2-1 defeat at home to West Ham on Sunday.

Sam Vokes continued his fine run of goalscoring form, his fifth goal in five games giving the Clarets an early lead, but Sofiane Feghouli and Andre Ayew hit back for the visitors.

Sean Dyche’s men ended the season with three wins from their last 16 matches, and that they finish lower than Swansea City in the table demonstrates how disappointing recent results…

Sean Dyche says it was more of the same from Burnley, giving an away performance not quite good enough for a result.
If Burnley fail to beat Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Saturday, it will begin to feel inevitable that they are going to go the whole Premier League season without winning away from home.
While the Clarets have one of the best home records in the league, helping them to a seven-point cushion from the relegation zone, their away form remains appalling despite a notable upturn in performance levels in recent weeks and months.
Sean Dyche’s side were genuinely unlucky not to get a point from…

Liverpool sealed three important points in their hunt for a top four finish as they downed Burnley 2-1 at Anfield.

Liverpool sealed three important points in their hunt for a top four finish as they downed Burnley 2-1 at Anfield.

English Premier League: Matthew Lowton (90’+3) Liverpool 2-1 Burnley
It was the same old story again for Burnley away from home in the Premier League as they lost 2-1 at Liverpool despite a brave defensive performance at Anfield on Sunday.

The Clarets led early through Ashley Barnes but although they had periods on the front foot they then withdrew and defended too deep, conceding somewhat inevitably in first-half injury time yet again.

Emre Can’s second-half strike deserved to win a game of very few chances for either side and Burnley’s long wait for a first…

Andre Gray has risen up the ladder from the lower leagues and now may be knocking on the door of an England call-up.

Andre Gray highlighted his importance to Burnley with two goals in last weekend’s 3-2 loss at Swansea City and his contract situation is becoming a cause for concern.

At the end of the season Gray — like fellow key player Michael Keane — will only have a year remaining on his current deal and the club will be vulnerable to offers for the striker.

Fernando Llorente’s dramatic stoppage-time winner earns Swansea three important points.

Fernando Llorente’s dramatic stoppage-time winner earns Swansea three important points.

English Premier League: Fernando Llorente (90’+2) Swansea City 3-2 Burnley
Swansea City edged a five-goal thriller at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday, Fernando Llorente powering home his second header of the game to secure a 3-2 win in injury-time.

Andre Gray’s brace had looked set to give the Clarets their first away win of the season, but considering Swansea hit the woodwork three times in the first half and that referee Anthony Taylor bizarrely gave the visitors a penalty for Sam Vokes handling the ball, it is hard to argue with the fairness of the result.

We’ve picked out the top five goals from the month of February but what’s your number one effort?

Sean Dyche says Burnley showed themselves well against Hull, and that he’ll always be happy to take a point away from home. Burnley boss Sean Dyche has said he accepts there is nothing he can do to stop other managers coveting his players after Andre Gray joined Michael Keane in the transfer gossip pages.
Dyche has spent much of the season fending off reported interest in central defender Keane, with Chelsea, Everton and Leicester among those linked with the 24-year-old at different times.
Now striker Gray — who has netted seven times this season and has 18 months left on his contract — is said to have attracted the…

It was a frustrating day for most of Burnley’s side, including Andre Gray who squandered one golden chance.
Burnley suffered their second embarrassing cup exit of the season, missing a golden chance to reach the FA Cup quarterfinals after being deservedly dumped out 1-0 by non-league Lincoln City.

It was a dire game with neither side possessing much quality and the rugged Imps scored from their only chance of the second half, with the Clarets similarly lacking incision in the final third.

With a cluster of rotten individual performances, Burnley did not seem up for the physical battle waged by Lincoln…

Joey Barton scores on his Burnley return, and explains he’s just happy to be back playing football.
Boyhood Arsenal fan Andre Gray believes the Gunners will be wary of Burnley when the two teams meet on Sunday.
Burnley head to the Emirates Stadium for the Premier League clash full of confidence, currently sitting 10th in the table, 10 points clear of the relegation zone.
It is 12 months since Sean Dyche’s team last visited the Gunners, in the fourth round of the FA Cup, and it will provide Gray with another opportunity to feature against the club he supported as a boy.
“I’ve always followed them…
